			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Not too much to post here.  I&#8217;ve managed to maintain this week, so no loss.  I didn&#8217;t make it to Weight Watchers today.  The hubby decided to take a nap, and I was unsuccessful in waking him up in time to watch the kiddos.  Just have had a lot going on, my house is <a href="http://mama-drama.org/2008/06/05/my-house-is-getting-a-makeover/">getting a new paint job</a>, so we&#8217;ve been busy with that.  I did manage to get on my elliptical 3 times last week, so not a total loss.  Hopefully, I&#8217;ll have more exciting things to post over the next week.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Let&#8217;s just say, my new elliptical&#8230;.is NOT my friend!!  Man&#8230;that thing was a lot harder than I expected.  I have managed (according to my scales) to lose 3 of the 6 lbs that I gained back.  So, I&#8217;m very excited about that.  I purchased a new cardio DVD, <em>The Firm &#8211; Cardio Dance Fusion</em>.  We&#8217;ll see if I can keep up with that one.  It has a 45-minute workout, and also offers a 25-minute express workout option too.  So I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll definitely be trying the express option first, and hopefully can work my way up to the 45-minute routine.</p>
<p>My eating over the past week has been a roller coaster ride.  Doing great one day, and then not so good the next.  I&#8217;m still pleased that I lost some of the weight I gained, but I know that I can do better.  Hopefully, I&#8217;ll have some good news to report from my Weight Watcher&#8217;s meeting today.</p>
<p>Wish me luck&#8230;now I&#8217;m off like a prom dress!!</p>

<p><em>Update:  Got back from WW.  Showed a 1.6 lb loss, so I&#8217;m very pleased with that.  I&#8217;m sure the difference between their weigh-in and mine was probably the time of day (morning vs. evening).  Hopefully, I can keep up the momentum.  We&#8217;ll see&#8230;</em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi Y&#8217;all!!  Yes&#8230;I finally feel like I&#8217;m back on track.  Starting today, I&#8217;m officially back on the road to becoming that &#8220;Hot Mommy&#8221; that I so desperately seek.  I&#8217;m heading to Weight Watchers in about an hour.  I&#8217;m a little nervous about going.  I know there will be a gain, and I&#8217;ve prepared myself for it.  So hopefully, it won&#8217;t be too bad.  I&#8217;ve stocked my fridge full of Lean Cuisine Paninis and Sugar-Free Jello pudding.  And I&#8217;ve got some veggies and fruit to munch on as well.  So I think I&#8217;m good to go.  I&#8217;m still getting on my elliptical twice a day. Trying to up my minutes every day.  I&#8217;m up to only 5 minutes each workout session, so not too bad.</p>
<p>Has anyone ever used <a href="http://getfirmtoday.com">The Firm</a> body reshaping program?  I was thinking about getting it.  Would love to hear some input on it??  Or if anyone has any other recommendations, please feel free!! <img src='http://makingmommyhot.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><em>Update:  Just got back from Weight Watchers.  I&#8217;ve gained back a whopping 6lbs.  I was prepared for it, so now I have to just move on.  Just finished a panini and a Fiber One bar, and about to hop on the elliptical!  <img src='http://makingmommyhot.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m down another 1.2 pounds!  I&#8217;m very happy with that too.  WW meeting was good tonight.  We were discussing activity and excuses we may use to NOT exercise, and it seems like, here lately, that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve been doing.  Making up excuses not to exercise.  I&#8217;m going to try get my act together, and do this.  And don&#8217;t get me wrong, it&#8217;s not that I don&#8217;t get ANY exercise.  Since my hubby&#8217;s been off due to his casino closing because of the rising flood water where I live, we&#8217;ve been staying busy, cleaning and doing outside work, so I know that is a form of exercising.  I would really like to get a piece of equipment though, or some type of exercise video, maybe that will motivate me.  We&#8217;ll see&#8230;would love to hear some suggestions or ideas as far as that goes.</p>
<p>Guess I&#8217;m off to go spend some time with the fam!!  I&#8217;m out!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Still going strong!  I continue to drop each time I visit weight watchers, and I&#8217;m ecstatic!!  And tonight&#8217;s meeting was so great, I am so glad that I switched to this one.  The WW Leader does an excellent job.  I don&#8217;t know, it just seems like a much more comfortable setting to me.  The people are so open with each other, and tonight there was a woman, probably not much older than I am (maybe mid 40&#8217;s), that had 3 heart attacks prior to going on WW, and she told her story of how she decided to start it.  Nothing else was working for her, she was also diabetic and was talking insulin several times a day.  She said that before starting WW, she was unable to go walking because of her heart, she would just get too out of breath.  Well, today she had been on WW for one week and had lost over 6 lbs, and now she requires less insulin during the day, and she&#8217;s able to walk a mile a day.  It brought tears to my eyes.  This woman was so proud of herself, and really seemed to have hope that she would be able to overcome what she had been going through.</p>
<p>Seriously, that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m scared to death about.  Having heart attacks, becoming diabetic, etc.  I have four kids, 6 and under, that I need to be around for, and watch grow up.  They need their mother and I absolutely refuse to let any of that happen to me!  Just hearing her story really opened up my eyes, and gave me another push in the right direction.  And also made me realize how much I need the support of this group and the support I get from my readers.</p>
<p>I just want to personally thank everyone that comes here, and gives me those wonderful words of encouragement.  It&#8217;s really appreciated and needed, so please, keep &#8216;em coming!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Went to my new WW meeting last night, and I really enjoyed it.  It was much more organized, and the people seemed to really feel comfortable talking with each other.  It just seemed to be a better support group.  And I have great news, according to their scales, I had lost 2 tenths of a pound.  Which is perfectly fine with me!  I am doing the monthly pass, that includes unlimited meetings, the e-tools online (which I totally love, btw).  It was really easy, I ordered it online, printed out my temporary card, and had immediate access to the e-tools.  I am now keeping up with my points on the online point tracker, so no more having to write down what I eat.  And I&#8217;m really diggin&#8217; that!  Can&#8217;t wait to go to my next meeting! <img src='http://makingmommyhot.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m actually in shock&#8230;and I&#8217;ll tell you why.  I&#8217;ve been really down this week plus I think I&#8217;m coming down with something, and so I&#8217;ve been feeling sorry for myself.  So to make a long story short&#8230;I have totally gone off my diet!  That is why I was so surprised that I showed a loss at Weight Watchers tonight.  I keep telling myself that it will eventually catch up with me, but then I told myself, &#8220;NO!  I just need to work extra hard this week and really stick to it, and hopefully I&#8217;ll break even next week.&#8221;</p>
<p>This weigh in today just boosted my mood and my self confidence!  I can do this!  I just need to tell myself, &#8220;No more Pizza, no more Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip cookies and absolutely no more Chinese food!!&#8221;  I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s been wrong with me, but I&#8217;ve just been craving everything I love here lately, and the Chinese Restaurant down the road has just been &#8220;calling me&#8221;.  I finally broke down, and ordered the other night, and I made myself sick.  To be honest, I really didn&#8217;t eat a whole lot, I mean I didn&#8217;t binge or anything, I guess my stomach is just not used to eating that stuff anymore and has shrunk or something.</p>
<p>But back to my self-confidence.  That&#8217;s why I really love Weight Watchers, the meetings and the support.  It really helps to be able go and be around other people that are going through the same thing I am.  They are experiencing the same ups and downs.  Losing weight is REALLY hard!  Believe me, I know, because I&#8217;ve been struggling with it all my life.  I&#8217;ve just got to keep on truckin&#8217;, because I have come too far to stop now!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You just don&#8217;t know how good I felt last night when I heard the Weight Watchers rep say that!  I couldn&#8217;t believe it!</p>
<p>Yes, I know I&#8217;m behind on my Weekly Recap, I&#8217;ve just been SUPER busy!  But exciting busy!  I&#8217;ve been working on creating &amp; designing a couple of website projects that I&#8217;m really excited about.  I can definitely say that I now have a blogging addiction.  I have a total of 4 blogs that I now write on, and I&#8217;ve also got another project in the works to start writing on a blog for someone else.  Hoping eventually it will turn into a lucrative venture.  We&#8217;ll see&#8230;.</p>
<p>This week, I am promising to start my walking.  Yes&#8230;I know&#8230;I&#8217;ve made this promise before.  I&#8217;m also going to start drinking my water like I was doing in the beginning, and I&#8217;m going to try to eat small meals every 3 hours.  That really seemed to be working really well for me, so with the walking figured in, that should really &#8220;jump start&#8221; my metabolism!</p>
<p>Ok&#8230;I&#8217;ve got a lot to do&#8230;.I&#8217;m out!</p>

<p>Today I weighed in at Weight Watchers and was very happy to find out that I had lost yet another 4.2 lbs!  Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for the meeting, things were just crazy at home, and I needed to get back.</p>
<p>My total weight loss so far is over 23lbs.  I&#8217;m still in shock over this, I don&#8217;t think I have ever lost weight this fast.  I did get to go walking with the babies this morning.  The weather was so nice, so I just couldn&#8217;t pass up the opportunity.  I was only able to make it one time around our block, but I intend to increase the distance as I go along.</p>
<p>Well&#8230;so far, things are still really going great, I just hope I can keep up the momentum!</p>
