MBT “Anti-Shoes” Physiological Footwear – I want some!!!

I was browsing around on Amazon today, and came across some very interesting shoes. They are the MBT Physiological Shoes. MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology. Here’s the history behind Masai Barefoot Technology:

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, was invented by Swiss engineer Karl Müller. During a visit to Korea he made the startling discovery that walking barefoot over paddy fields alleviated his back pain. Back in Switzerland, Müller began to develop a footwear technology that would make the natural instability of soft ground such as Korean paddy fields or the East African savannah accessible also to those, who have to walk on hard surfaces. In 1996, after years spent on research and development, Masai Barefoot Technology was mature enough to be launched on the market. MBTs are now available in over twenty countries, and approximately one million pairs of this revolutionary footwear technology are sold every year.

Here are some of the benefits of wearing these shoes:

  • Activates Neglected Muscles
  • Improves Posture and Gait
  • Tones and Shapes the Body
  • Can Help with Back, Hip, Leg and Foot Problems
  • Can Help with Joint, Muscle, Ligament and Tendon Injuries
  • Reduces Stress on Knee and Hip Joints

They have also been getting great reviews! The only thing is…they will definitely cost you a pretty penny. Maybe I can save up for some! I thought these were pretty cute.

Thanks for stopping by Making Mommy Hot! Have a great day!

I’ve seen these somewhere, of course I do not recall where, but I do recall seeing them. Maybe not that particular brand, but some like them, and since I had no idea the reason behind them, I thought they were rather goofy looking, but knowing that they serve a purpose, maybe they would be worth it, lol

I don’t recall them being as pricey tho, but again, I don’t even remember where I saw them!
