I haven’t had a very good week. I messed up real bad last night when I broke down and ordered Pizza Hut pizza. I know, I know…I should kick myself!
I won’t go to say that I just gorged myself on pizza, because I didn’t. Instead of having one or two slices, I had three. And it was the Pizza Mia pizzas, so not too bad. One piece is 5 points, so that’s like 15 points. And I didn’t go over my weekly points, but still I don’t like to do stuff like that, because I feel like I am reverting back to old habits, you know? Never a good thing for me.
So far today, I’m good. I actually slept in late (9AM), so I skipped breakfast. So I should be ok for the rest of the day. Going to have a good lunch, Lean Cuisine Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza (much better choice than Pizza Hut, only 7 points), and have a light dinner, maybe a Lean Cuisine Spaghetti and Meat Sauce (5 points). I should be good to go for weigh in tomorrow, just still slightly nervous, because my scales are showing a one pound gain.
I know, but I’m not going to let it discourage me, and I’m not going to officially claim the gain in my stats, until I weigh tomorrow, since that is my official weigh in day. Make sense?
Anyway, I’m still motivated, not going to let this get me down, also going to officially start my walking regimen tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!

Don’t let it get you down Ruthie! You are doing so great. My only piece of advice would be to not skip any meals. Eat that breakfast, because when you skip, sometimes you’re so hungry by lunch you eat more than you would have if you’d just had breakfast. Also, skipping meals slows down the metabolism. Good luck with the walking. The great part about walking is it’s actually fun. I bet the twins will love it!

Thanks Tess! I know, I normally don’t skip meals, because if I do I get a headache. I was doing so good in the beginning eating like every 3 hours, and I think that is what boosted my metabolism. I’m going to try to get back to that again. Thanks for the pep talk!

Sounds like you needed some extra sleep. Even on the rare occasion when I get to sleep in, I usually try to jumpstart my metabolism with some protein when I get up. Just a little bit will hold you over until lunch.
