Last night at work I was talking about this stupid bill with a co-worker. Working in a restaurant, I can tell you there have been many many times I wanted to not serve someone, however it has NEVER been because they are fat. it is usually because they order something and put in so many substitutions it ends up being something completely different that they could have ordered in the first place.

I am soo glad this did not pass. I am sorry that someone was immature and stupid enough to even propose that bill.

Oh and congrats on your 5 lb loss last week. That is AWESOME!!!

Thanks Christy! Yeah, once the word got out about this bill, it caused quite an uproar. I hear ya on having to deal with customers like that, it would make me not want to serve them too.

found you through GarryConn.com but I think I’ve visited a few times before this. Anyways, I just heard about that bill. Wow! Talk about getting into everyone’s business. I totally get when people are actually eating at the bar as they pile their food, by all means kick them OUT. But just because someone is overweight they shouldn’t get the bar? That doesn’t make sense.

Casinos will also be losing out if they do the ban smokers thing. Can you imagine, no smokers or all you can eat buffets? Wow, what’ll be left?
