….and if this House Bill passes, I will no longer be allowed to eat in a restaurant! You’ve got to read this. This is absolutely asinine! I’m flabbergasted, astonished, hurt, sickened, angry. I know that it probably won’t pass, but still, I’m just completely and utterly disgusted that a fellow Mississippian would come up with something like this!
Update: Here is an article from the USA Today:
“Bill would make it illegal to feed the obese“

Are you sure this bill is not meant as sarcasm?
I read recently that our founding fathers tried to have put in our Constitution that the American army could not be bigger than 3000 men.
So George Washington had another paragraph offered that would limit all invading armies also to 3000 men. Needless to say, both passages failed.

I don’t know, but it’s a very cruel act of sarcasm if it is.

My name is Ruthie, I’m a Mississippian and I’m Obese…
Just a post expressing the outrage over the new House Bill that could be passed in Mississippi involving restaurants not being allowed to serve people who are obese….

Ok I hope that bill never passes. I will eat what I want, where I want, and when I want thank you very much. I am so glad that doesn’t include Canadians. Man that is just crazy.
