Deep Dish Pizza Casserole Recipe – Weight Watchers Recipe

I’m a huge pizza eater, especially hamburger pizza. In fact, I’ve been so craving it today, and have come so close to ordering Pizza Hut. But I didn’t, instead I started searching the net for a good alternative and found this great sounding recipe. It sounds wonderful and for only 6 POINTS® per serving, you can’t go wrong with that! Deep Dish Pizza Casserole

1 pound 95% Lean Ground Beef

1/2 cup Green Peppers, chopped

1/2 cup Onion, chopped

1 small can Mushrooms, drained

1 – 15 oz. can Chunky Italian-Style Tomato Sauce

Cooking Spray

1 – 10 oz. can refrigerated Pizza Crust Dough

1-1/2 cup (6 oz) 2% Shredded Mozzarella

Cook meat and vegetables in a non-stick skillet until browned, stirring until it crumbles. Drain and return to skillet. Add tomato sauce, and cook until heated through.

Coat a 9×13-inch-baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll pizza crust dough, and press into bottom and halfway up sides of baking dish. Top with meat mixture. Bake, uncovered at 425 for 12 minutes. Top with cheese and bake 5 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese is melted.

Cool 5 minutes before serving.

6 Servings – 6 POINTS each

Weekly Recap – Another 4.2 lbs Lost!

Just a quick update.

Today I weighed in at Weight Watchers and was very happy to find out that I had lost yet another 4.2 lbs! Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for the meeting, things were just crazy at home, and I needed to get back.

My total weight loss so far is over 23lbs. I’m still in shock over this, I don’t think I have ever lost weight this fast. I did get to go walking with the babies this morning. The weather was so nice, so I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I was only able to make it one time around our block, but I intend to increase the distance as I go along.

Well…so far, things are still really going great, I just hope I can keep up the momentum!

The Flat Belly Diet

Here’s something to try if some of the other weight loss programs aren’t working for you and you have unwanted belly fat that you want to get rid of.

21 Pounds Gone Baby!

Well…I did it! I made it past the 20lb mark and then some! Just what I needed to keep myself going. Over the past couple of days, I’ve been struggling with a little depression, and I’ll tell you, you don’t know how many times I wanted to go into the kitchen and just fix myself something extremely fattening and eat ever bit of it, but I didn’t. I started taking a mild anti-depressant, Celexa. Just to kind of even things out. Sometimes, I am on such a high, and then all of a sudden I’m down again, and I have no idea why. So hopefully, the Celexa will work.

But yes, the weight loss is definitely helping too. Plus I just feel so much better physically. Hopefully, I can keep the momentum going. Going to try and get out with the babies today for a walk. It’s really nice out, but kind of chilly, so we’ll have to bundle up a bit.


Weekly Recap – Great News! I lost another 1.4lbs this week!

Man…this is all just too easy and feels like it’s too good to be true.  I just can’t believe that I’ve been able to eat what I want and still lose weight!  It’s been great!

But I know, I’ve got to get myself moving a little more, or I will hit a plateau.  The weather is suppose to be really nice over the next few days (we’ve had major precip and storms), so I’m planning to get out with the babies and go walking.  Hopefully, that will keep the weight coming off.

Well…that’s it.  Just a quick post.  Got to get myself to bed.
